The award honours outstanding leaders in the field of human resources management who have made tangible achievements, completed pioneering work and launched distinguished initiatives in their organisations.
The award reflects the achievements of human resources in Abu Dhabi Customs in applying international best practices during its strategic transformation, establishing an empowered digital institutional environment that serves the customs work system by providing distinguished services and raising the competencies of professionals.
This is in addition to its pioneering efforts in applying comprehensive automation to manage its human capital by using artificial intelligence and advanced technology in the human resources sector to keep pace with changes, needs and future visions.
Abu Dhabi Customs is the first government entity in the Middle East to implement the Full Oracle HCM Cloud Suite with Analytics Enterprise project, the first government entity in Abu Dhabi to be classified as a great place to work, and the first to win the Gold award for Best Institution to Work at the MENA Stevie Awards 2022.
The selection and nomination process for obtaining the award is subject to various criteria and conditions, including the candidate’s practice of transformational leadership, leadership of human resources automation and transformation, contribution to redefining the work environment to provide a unique employee experience through the application of wellbeing and quality of life programmes, taking into account diversity, inclusion and achieving justice in the work environment, as well as working to support its human resources in a way that helps to anticipate future needs.
