The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs signed three Service Level Agreements at the Abu Dhabi government pavilion during GITEX Global 2023 held at Dubai World Trade Center, to establish a general framework for exchanging information and digital integration with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), and UAE Media Council. This is to strengthen cooperation and coordination ties and provide distinguished services to customers, as well as solidify strategic partnership relations to achieve the strategic objectives of Abu Dhabi Customs and the parties to the agreements. This aligns with the comprehensive strategic plan of the Abu Dhabi government in particular and the United Arab Emirates in general.
His Excellency Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, signed an agreement with the UAE Media Council, represented by its Secretary General Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi. His Excellency Mubarak Matar Al Mansoori, Executive Director of the Customs Operations Sector, signed two agreements. The first was with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, represented by His Excellency Osama Amir Fadhel, Assistant Undersecretary of Industrial Accelerators Sector. The second was with the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority , represented by His Excellency Mohamed Al Ramsi, Deputy Director General for the Telecommunications Sector at the Authority.
The Service Level Agreements to establish a general framework for information exchange and digital integration aim to enhance institutional cooperation between Abu Dhabi Customs and the parties involved to facilitate customs processes, expedite procedures in accordance with applicable legislation, and establish a general framework, methodology, and system for exchanging information, data, and services that support mutual interests and goals..
