The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs is showcasing its latest innovative projects in customs operations at the 43rd GITEX Global exhibition, held at Dubai World Trade Center from October 16-20. Participating in the Abu Dhabi government pavilion, Abu Dhabi Customs is featuring four smart projects that enhance its global leadership in adopting advanced technologies aligned with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, artificial intelligence, and highest international standards.
At this year's exhibition, Abu Dhabi Customs is launching its newest advanced system powered by blockchain technology to improve customs processes, along with mixed reality glasses for customs operations, which facilitate customs inspectors' work in confirming trucks' exit from the customs center. Abu Dhabi Customs is also highlighting shoulder cameras for inspectors that aims to enhance transparency and customer satisfaction by addressing operational challenges and documenting procedures at border crossings.
Additionally, Abu Dhabi Customs is showcasing a customs robot project equipped with AI technology that reads vital signs and provide instant reports to the customs control center. Furthermore, the robot provides customs services to individuals while also measuring customer satisfaction levels.
Abu Dhabi Customs' annual participation in GITEX Technology Week, within the Abu Dhabi Government pavilion, aims to showcase the latest technologies and innovations, exchange best practices in digital transformation and utilizing advanced AI-based technologies to enhance the efficiency of the customs system, and ensuring community security and economic prosperity.
